Blogger SEO Settings 2020( Advanced SEO Blogger Settings)

 👍💯 SEO Settings to Rank your Blog on Google. In this article, I will tell you about Advanced SEO Settings that you can apply in your Blogger Blog and Rank Your blog in Top 10 Result on Google.

Go to your blogger Dashboard and click onSettings.

Let Start with Basic Settings:-

(1) Title:- Here you can change your Blog title Name at any time. But do not change your blog title name again & again as it gives a negative impact on the blog on Google. Blog Title Must be Unique or Contain popular keywords.

(2) Description:- Here you can add a short 500 Characters description of your blog. Use Maximum Keywords (Popular words on Google). This will appear just below your blog title.

(3) Privacy:- This is a very important setting for your blog, From this setting, you can make your public or private if you select "No" from the Yes or No options, then your blog will not appear on search engines. so click on edit and click on "Yes" and click on Save Changes. 

Recommended:- Select Yes Option.  

Publishing Settings in Blogger:-

(4) Blog address:- From here you can add an existing domain name or if you don't have an existing domain name, you can also buy it from Google from here.

In the above link a free Google domain name provided by google in Blogger, So that you can create a blog, for better results, and a fast index of your blog on Google search console you should buy a custom domain name like .com, .org, .blog, etc.

Recommended:- Use free domain name if you are a new blogger and if your blog is 2 to 3 months old and has 50+ high-quality articles then you must go for a custom domain.  

(5) HTTPS Redirect:- HTTP unsecured network while HTTPS secured network, HTTP send data over part 80 while HTTPS uses port 443. HTTP operates at the application layer, while https operates at the transport layer no SSL certificates are required for HTTP with https it is required that you have an SSL certificate and it is signed by a CA.

Recommended: HTTPS as it a secured network.  

(6) Blog Authors:- From this setting, you can add or remove authors from your blog.

(7) Blog readers:- This is an essential setting for your blog. In these settings, you can make your block public or private.
If you select private then only blogs authors can see your blog posts.

Recommended:- Public.

Post Settings:-

(8) Show at Most:- From this setting, you can select how many posts you want on one page of your blog.

Recommended:-  5 or 10  

(9) Post Template:- From this setting, you can add common text, paragraph, or code which you want whenever you write a new article.

(10) Showcase Image with lightbox:- This setting is for your blog pictures, If you select "Yes" then anyone clicked on images in your blog articles, the image will open in an overlay top of your blog.

Recommended:- No  

Comments Setting in Blogger:-

(11) Comments Location:- This setting has 4 option:-

⭐ If you select "Embedded" then the user can comment on your blog post page on the same page.

⭐ If you select the "Full page" or "Popup" option, then the user cannot comment on the same page of blog articles, He/She will be redirected to a new page for comment and then again he will be redirected back to the blog article.

⭐ If you select the "Hide" option then no user can comment on your blog articles.

Note:- Selecting the Hide option does not delete existing comments. You can show them at any time by selecting other options. (Embedded or Full page or Popup).

Recommended:- Embedded 

(12) Who can comment?:-

Anyone:- If you select this option then anyone can comment on your blog.

User with Gmail Account:- If you select this option then only Viewers with Gmail account can comment on your blog.

Only Members of this blog:- If you select this option then only Viewers subscribed to your newsletter can comment on your blog.

Recommended:- Users with Gmail Account 

(13) Comment Moderation:- Review comments before they are published. a link will appear on your dashboard when there are comments to review.

Recommended:- Select Always option.  

(14) Show Word Verification:- With the help of this setting you can stop viewers from commenting un-wanted words which will help you to reduce comments spamming.

Recommended:- Select Yes option.  

(15) Comment From Message:- In this setting, you add those words or sentence which you do not want in comments.
Example: Visit My blog, Link, Porn, etc.


(16) Posting using Email:- This is a very useful setting in blogger, you can create a private email address to post an article in your blog without opening the Blogger dashboard.

whenever you send mails to the above email address. It will automatically publish or save a draft in your blog.

(17) Comment Notification Emails:- In this setting, you can enter up to 10 email addresses separated by commas. then you will get mails on the email address when someone leaves a comment on your blog.

(18) Email Post to:- In this setting, you can add upon 10 email addresses separated by commas, your articles notification will be sent to these email addresses whenever you publish a new article.


Language Settings in Blogger:-

(19) Language:- Select your blog language.

(20)Enable Transliteration:- Enable this setting and select a language different from your blog language. To add a button toolbar for converting words from English to the selected language.


(21) Time Zone:- Select your country time zone, Just like India time zone is (GMT+05:30) India standard Time.

(22) Date Header Format:- In this setting, you can select a date format for your blog header.

(23) Timestamp Format:- In this setting, you can select a date format for your blog post.  

(24) Comment timestamp format:- In this setting, you can select a date format for your blog comments.
